The beaches that can you visit in Pangandaran

Well, here i wanna inform you about some of beaches that can you visit here.
Pangandaran has many beaches, and the beaches has a different view and aslo different in anything.
The first,surely Pangandarn beach, has two of beaches. West beach, where you can see the sun sets, and the east beach where you can see the sun rises. At pangandaran beach, you should to know that two of this beach is the most of often visit by people, the distance that not so far makes this beach has many visitors.

 
 
 
 

The second beach is Karapyak Beach, the location is near with panagndaran beach but before you arrive at pangandaran beach you will pass the way to go to Karapyak Beach. The beach is very nice, because no many people like at pangandaran beach, the natural can you feel there. The beach has many corals and fishes, no large swimming area here.. But you can see the view of the beach and ocean, also teh village with some people who still alives at village..









And then the Karangnini Beach, the location is after karapyak beach, when you go to pangandaran, 10 km before arrive at pangandaran you'll pass the jungle that protected by government but there is a way to go to Karangnini beach. But here you can not swimm because its too danger for safety. The wave is not very good for swimming..


The next beach is Batuhiu Beach, or you can call The Shark Stone Beach, Why? Because, people here said that in a long time ago there was a stone in the centre of the ocean (but you can see fro the beach) that like a shark. So, people call this place with Shark Stone beach. A Nice beach name..
Here, people also built a shark sculpture, so if you come here it will welcome your coming here.
And here, there is a rock that like a ship. In here you will feel the fresh air and rilax athmosphere cause there are many trees and no many people here. From Pangadandaran you will need about 20 minutes by your vihhicles. Here is also there a turtles breeding, its for make turtles population be better and can still lives at the ocean.

Pangandaran and The Culture

If we talk about some place, I think The Culture is one of thing that can be a topic.
I think all place has their own culture that different.
In Pangandaran, You will know some culture that always do by people.
One of the culture that often do by people is Hajat Laut ( Ocean Party Event ).
This event always held by people in every year, usually fisherman that organize this event and people who near with the beach.
There are many people that interest with this event, from local tourists and also the foreign tourists, they see and follow the series of this event.
Hajat Laut is an event to say a gratitude (thankfull) to God for all the blessing that Given by him. It is like a traditional ceremony and usually held every month of Muharram based Shura or Hijri calendar.
This event is one of the biggest event here.. All people celebrate it happily, and so busy.
Usually in this event, people release an offering at centre of the ocean. They bring the offering to the centre and then release the offering and also spread some of flowers. The offerings which will be floated are the head of buffalo and goats, a variety of foods, fruits, jewelery or accessories, clothing, and anothers.
There are many boats that bring it to the centre of ocean.
Before they do this session, usually people pray to God and doing some competition like The boat decorating contest, and anothers. And there are many performance of traditional music, traditional dance. So, this event is very good to show to the people about the culture of Pangandaran.

Pangandaran's Map

Pangandaran's weather is not very good nowsday, because it changes so fast.. In the morning the weather is cloudy, sometimes bright, but it changes so fast.. It makes people can not do their job well..
But, the tourism activities is normal, always full on weekend. The hotels and the inns are full with many tourists from local or foreign tourists.
If we talk about Pangandaran beach, surely we want to know how big and how far the distance of one place to another places.
 So that, Pangandaran as a tourism place has a map that can make you easy to find the place or going anywhere.
Look at the right side, that is the map taht you need for your travelling or holidays in Pangandaran.
And for the comfortable of the hotel's guests, usually hotel has a big map at lobby or small map that can you bring anywhere you want to go.




 From this map You can see some of public area like hospital, seafood restaurant, life guard office, swimming area, no swimming area, life guard poss, parking area, the hotels, internet shops, fish market, some of caffee, also the dangerous area for swimming, and anothers. So that, it will make you easy to find some place or guide your travelling without a tour guide.


 
 For your information, at the east beach of pangandaran you can do water sport like banana boat. There are many place that serve the facilities. And at the west beach, You can do Surfing. There are many foundation that can teach you to learn surfing.

Cagar Alam Pangandaran

If you come to Pangandaran, Don't forget to visit Cagar Alam Pangandaran! Because here, You'll feel the fresh air and see many animals and trees..

There are also many historical heritage, like  some of caves that a heritage from colonial period and also some caves that a heritage from ancestral..
In this jungle, some of animals that can you find are monkeys, deers, snakes, lizards, crabs, black monkey (langur, trcyphithecus auratus), partridge (gallus), bats (pteroptus vampyrus), hedgehog (bahasa : landak), birds.
And you can find A Carrion flower (Raflessia patma) if you are lucky, but the location is more far, you must to find in the jungle..

Well, actually you also have to know that Pangandaran has a beautifull of under waterpark, with many fishes and corals. You can take snorkling time at Cagar Alam (white sands). The Pangandaran's ocean makes many fishes grow well here, there are many fisherman catch the fishes. So that, Pangandaran is also famous with the seafood. There are many restaurant here that serve seafood menu.

Pangandaran Beach

In the first page i told you about the location, and now I am going to tell you about The natural resources that had by Pangandaran. Pangandaran is famous with the beaches that has a nice view. Pangandaran has two of beaches that has a different sands colour. White sands and also Black sands. The black sands is all the beaches of pangandaran, usually near the hotels that face to the beach. For the white sands, You can see it only in Cagar Alam Pangandaran. All the beaches in cagar alam has a white sands and a beautifull also amazing view.
Cagar alam is a jungle area that has many species of tress and animals. It is in Pananjung. There is also a carrion flower, it grows in Cagar alam and this flower is rare. Amarphophalus variabilis is the latin name of the flower.
I went there oftenly, I like the place because for me its wonderfull and amazing.
You will also see many animals like monkeys, langur (the black monkey), snakes, deers, lizards, insects, and certainly the fishes on beside of the beach.
And this jungle (cagar alam) has some of amazing waterfalls, but You will need a long time to arrive there by walking, its about 2 and more  hours from the Cagar alam entrance.

Pangandaran beach has two beaches that has a different direction, i mean it has A west beach and also East beach. So, here you can see the sunset and also the sunrise. Is it nice??
Don't be worry if you take travelling to Pangandaran, There are many hotels here so You can spend your time here as long as you want.. Don't also be worry for the price, beacuse you can find the cheappest and the  most expensive..

How the way to arrive at Pangandaran ?

There are many ways to arrive at Pangandaran.
You can choose which one that can make you be comfortable for your trip.
First, you can take Public transportation like the buss, the train, or the plane.
But usually many people comes here with their own vihicles like motorbike or the car.
Well, I'll tell you how the wat to arrive at Pangandaran by Public Transortation.
By Buss : Pangandaran has a Buss Station, its not so big but the buss that passes here are coming from a big city like Bandung, Jakarta, and Jogjakarta. Its easy for you to come here by buss. You can take the buss where you are that will go to Pangandaran. And you will arrive at Buss station of Pangandaran, after that you get off the buss and take another vihicles  like "becak" or "motorbike (ojek)", but actually the distance from the buss station is not so far to pangandaran beach, its only 10 minutes by walking..
By Train : Right now, Pangandaran has not a train station but there are two city that near with Pangandaran that has a train station. They are Banjar City and Sidareja. You can take off from the train at one of the station, the distance two of this cities to Pangandaran are not too far, it will need 2 hours of trip with car. So, You have to take on the buss  that goes to Pangandaran after you take off the train..
By Private Vihicles : I think this way is a best way to arrive at Pangandaran, because you can dicide the time of the trip, and also the rest time. Don't worry if you will take a wrong way, because all the way to go to Pangandaran there are many direction way can show you the way!

About me and Pangandaran Beach

If you ask me about where am i living, the answer is yes I am living in Pangandaran. But actually I am not originally from here.. My mother is coming from Banyumas District, and My father is coming from Ciamis District.
My mother, she is died for three years ago and my father, he went to another country to find his new life.
And me? I went to Pangandaran since  I finished my senior high school. I went to Pangandaran looking for a job because I have to survive my life.. And I lived here for more than 3 years.. I ever worked at some of hotels in Pangandaran, and now I am working at one of Internet shop in Pangandaran and I am studying at Pangandaran University, and I take Tourism Study Programme.. So that, I wanna inform you about the tourism in Pangandaran.
Well, let me tell you about Pangandaran.
Pangandaran has many beautifull places that very amazing and very nice.. the beaches, the jungle, the waterfalls, and the rivers with a great canyon beside it...

Pangandaran Beach is a mainstay attraction in Pangandaran District (division of Ciamis District) is located in the southeast of West Java, in the Village Pananjung, District of Pangandaran, West Java Province. This beach has been named the best beach on the island of Java, according to AsiaRooms.
There are many beautifull places here, the beach with white sands, black sands, and a jungle with many species of trees and animals.

In pangandaran, you can see the sun rises and sets because there are two beaches, east beach and west beach! There are many hotels can you rent for your travelling here, it will make your travelling be more easy and comfortable.. So, You don't need choose more to come here..
